The Scalar i40, Scalar 50/50e and Scalar i500 5U libraries are customer installable. However, library installation service is recommended for all configurations and system configuration services are recommended for all Fibre Channel installations. The Library Installation charge includes installation of the library and all optional items initially ordered with the library. Installation service is required if a system configuration package is ordered in conjunction with a new system installation. Installation is required for the Scalar i500 5U if ordering Quantum Encryption Key Manager at initial purchase.
